Rice price today May 11: Rice price remains stable

Rice prices in the Mekong Delta provinces remained unchanged today after fluctuating in an upward direction with rice yesterday. Currently, there is little fresh rice, so many traders are asking to buy dry rice, making the market more active. In An Giang, rice prices continued to remain unchanged today. Specifically, Long An sticky rice is priced at VND5,100 – 5,500/kg; OM 18 is priced at VND6,400 – 6,600/kg; Dai Thom 8 is priced at VND6,400 – 6,600/kg; OM 9577, OM 9582 is priced at VND6,050/kg; OM 5451 is priced at VND6,300 – 6,500/kg; OM 6976 remains priced at VND6,000 – 6,150/kg; IR 50404 is priced at VND5,900 – 6,000/kg; Japanese rice 7,500 – 7,600 VND/kg; fresh sticky rice 5,000 – 5,100 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 at 6,100 – 6,200 VND/kg. Currently, there is little winter-spring rice, traders are asking to buy more dry rice, the market is bustling. Last week, according to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), rice prices fluctuated between localities.
