In the long term, rice exporters are optimistic. India still applies a 20% export tax policy on white rice and has not yet lifted the ban on broken rice exports. This continues to cause a global supply shortage, making the market less competitive. Therefore, other exporting countries, including Vietnam, benefit. Many Vietnamese enterprises have found some traditional customers in Africa, although not many, because the price of Vietnamese rice is high compared to the consumption demand of this region.
