Accordingly, the price of live hog in this area is currently ranging from 59,000 to 63,000 VND/kg, with Lam Dong as the only locality to record 63,000 VND/kg, the highest in the region. In the remaining provinces and cities, live hogs are sold for 60,000 – 61,000 VND/kg. The southern live hog market in Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho City, the same price is 63,000 VND/kg. Thus, there are only two provinces of Tay Ninh and Ca Mau with live hog price of 64,000 VND/kg, the highest in the country. The latest survey shows that southern traders are buying live pigs for 62,000 – 64,000 VND/kg. Overall, the price of live hog continues to decline slightly in all three regions in the early morning of the week.
